TL;DR
Binance bStocks are tokenized US stocks launched in June 2026 — a BEP-20 token that tracks a real US share 1:1 and can be moved freely on-chain. They are a different product from Binance's "buy stocks directly": bStocks trade on spot, 24/7, settle in about one second, and can be withdrawn to your own wallet.
Quick start in three steps:
- Register, complete KYC, and fund USDT/USDC (from $5)
- Search a bStock ticker like
TSLAB(Tesla) orNVDAB(NVIDIA) on spot and buy - Track P&L in real time — dividends auto-reinvest, and you can self-custody on BSC
Three things to remember: ① bStocks are not stocks — they carry no voting rights, they are price-tracking certificates; ② stock ↔ bStocks converts 1:1 for free, so you can swap back to real shares anytime; ③ dividends are never cash — they are auto-reinvested after a 30% tax.
Who it's not for: long-term holders who want voting rights and full shareholder benefits — use a real broker instead.

First, decode the two products: bStocks vs buying stocks directly
This is the easiest mistake for beginners: Binance has two "buy US stocks" entries, and they are completely different products. Many older tutorials cover the first one, which is not the bStocks covered here.
| Dimension | Buy stocks directly (Stock Trading) | bStocks (tokenized) |
|---|---|---|
| What you hold | Real shares with shareholder rights | A BEP-20 token tracking the price 1:1 |
| Listings | 7,000+ US stocks/ETFs | ~80+ (growing weekly) |
| Settlement | USDC, T+2 | USDT/USDC etc., ~1 second |
| Trading hours | US hours + pre/post market | 24/7 |
| Main fees | $0.35 platform fee or 0.1% spread | Zero spot commission, free conversion |
| On-chain withdrawal | No | ✅ BSC self-custody |
| Dividends | Cash in USDC | Auto-reinvested |
In one line: for real equity + voting rights, use direct stock trading; to trade stock prices with crypto and move them on-chain, use bStocks. For the full direct-trading flow, see our Binance US stock tutorial; this article focuses on the bStocks line.
What exactly is a bStock?
bStocks are tokenized securities issued by BTech Holdings, a Binance-affiliated company, in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) — the first product on the FSRA's official list. Each bStock has an FSRA-approved prospectus1.
The mechanics come down to one line: custody first, mint second, backed 1:1.
- The issuer first places real US shares into a regulated custody account
- For each share held, one matching bStock (BEP-20) is minted on BNB Smart Chain
- Reserves can be verified live on the official Proof of Collateral page
So you hold a token with economic exposure 1:1 to a real share: it rises and falls with the stock, and dividends auto-reinvest (more below). But it gives you no voting rights — legally it is a "certificate representing financial instruments," not shares in a Nasdaq account1.
Key figures (as of September 2026, still listing weekly):
- ~83 tickers (83 ISINs on the ADGM official list), named original ticker + B: Tesla
TSLAB, NVIDIANVDAB, CoinbaseCOINB, CircleCRCLB2 - $30 billion cumulative volume in the first 90 days (announced 2026-09-07)3
- 24/7 trading, ~1 second settlement, minimum $5, fractional shares
- On-chain market cap of roughly $610 million, second only to Ondo among tokenized stocks4
Before you buy: account, KYC, region limits
Step one is always confirming you're eligible. bStocks are only available in eligible regions — mainland China and the US are excluded, subject to the platform's region check (KYC and geographic verification) at registration.
Checklist:
- A Binance account — if you don't have one, register on Binance (invite code BINANBT for spot and futures fee rebates)
- KYC Level 1+ — submit ID and facial recognition, always using your own identity
- USDT/USDC in your spot wallet — bStocks are priced in stablecoins
⚠️ If bStocks aren't available in your region, don't bypass the restriction with a VPN or borrowed identity: it breaches the terms, can trigger an asset freeze, and leaves you without legal protection.
Funding: USDT/USDC from $5
bStocks are priced in stablecoins, with a $5 minimum and fractional shares. Any USDT or USDC already in your account works — no conversion needed.
- Already have USDT? Just place a spot order; no need to convert to USDC
- Not funded yet? Use C2C or on-chain deposit — see our Binance deposit guide
Example: one NVDA share costs about $120, but $20 buys roughly 0.16 of a share as NVDAB. For users with limited funds who want crypto-based exposure to US stock prices, the barrier is genuinely low.
Three ways to buy: spot / tokenize / stock portal
There are three routes to getting a bStock, depending on what you already hold:
| Route | Best for | One-line how-to |
|---|---|---|
| ① Buy on spot | You only hold USDT/USDC | Search the ticker on spot and buy |
| ② Tokenize holdings | You already bought real stocks on Binance | Tap "Tokenize your Stocks" for 1:1 conversion |
| ③ Stock portal + token toggle | You want it in one step | Trade → Stock → enable the "Tokenize" toggle |
① Buy on spot is the simplest — demonstrated step-by-step in the next section.
② Tokenize existing holdings: if you already hold real stocks under Binance's direct stock trading, open your stock holdings and tap Tokenize your Stocks to convert them 1:1 into bStocks for free. Once tokenized, you can move them on-chain or convert back anytime.
③ Stock portal + token toggle: go to Trade → Stock, complete the eligibility/compliance check, choose an asset, fund it, and enable the Token Conversion toggle before confirming — shares are then issued as 1:1 BEP-20 tokens.
Step by step: buy a bStock on spot
This is the route 90% of users take: buying directly on spot. Example — buying Tesla's bStock (TSLAB):
- Open the Binance app or web, go to Trade → Spot
- Search
TSLAB(orNVDABfor NVIDIA,COINBfor Coinbase) - On first entry, the bStocks risk disclosure appears — read it before confirming, it spells out that you're not buying shares, you have no voting rights, and there's issuer/custodian risk
- Enter an amount (from $5) or quantity, choose a market or limit order
- Tap Buy — about one second later the bStock shows up in your spot holdings

Two practical reminders:
- Use limit orders, not market orders off-hours. After US close and on weekends, pricing relies on the last close plus estimates, so spreads widen. About 44% of bStocks volume happens outside regular US hours5 — real activity exists, but keep large orders for US market hours (21:30–04:00 Beijing time).
- Start small. Don't go all-in on the first order — try 20–50 USDT to feel out the spread and fills before sizing up.
How dividends arrive: the Multiplier mechanism
bStocks pay no cash — dividends are auto-reinvested through an on-chain Multiplier mechanism. Here's how:
After each ex-date, the underlying dividend is first reduced by ~30% US withholding tax, then the net dividend is automatically reinvested into the underlying stock by the issuer, and the Multiplier proportionally raises your displayed bStock balance6. It usually arrives earlier than a traditional broker's payout.
So you don't see a USDC deposit — your position quietly grows. This is the biggest experience difference from direct stock trading (which pays cash USDC). If you want cash dividends, Bitget rToken is the only tokenized-stock product that settles in USDT — see our four-platform comparison.
Withdraw to a BSC wallet for self-custody
bStocks are BEP-20 tokens, so you can withdraw them to your own wallet — the biggest freedom advantage over direct stock trading. You can:
- Withdraw to Trust Wallet / Binance Web3 wallet / a hardware wallet for self-custody
- Take them on-chain into DeFi protocols for collateral, lending and more
Withdrawal path: Binance spot wallet → Withdraw → select TSLAB (or your ticker) → network BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) → enter your BSC address → confirm.
Two red lines:
- Verify the network and contract address — use only the officially published contract address; a wrong chain or address can permanently lose funds
- Self-custody ≠ total freedom — on-chain tokens remain bound by the issuer's smart-contract terms (transfer restrictions, address blacklists, sanction screening are all written into the contract)
How to sell or redeem 1:1 for real shares
There are two simple ways out:
- Sell on spot — sell
TSLABback for USDT, fastest for taking profit - Redeem 1:1 for real shares — to get back real equity + voting rights, redeem the bStock for real stock in the stock portal; redemptions execute during US market hours
This "swap back to real shares anytime" is a distinctive Binance bStocks advantage: buy the token, take it on-chain for DeFi, and convert it back to real shares for shareholder benefits whenever you want — the conversion itself is free in both directions.
Fees explained
bStocks have a clearer, more certain fee structure than other tokenized stocks:
| Item | Fee |
|---|---|
| Stock ↔ bStocks conversion | $0 (permanently free, no spread) |
| bStocks spot trading | $0 commission (a small platform fee may apply — check the fee schedule) |
| Maker fee waiver promo | Ended 2026-08-31 |
| BSC withdrawal | BEP-20, minimal gas |
What to watch is the spread, not the fee. The hidden cost of tokenized stocks lives in the off-hours bid-ask spread. A practical test: place the same 50 USDT limit order during US hours and off-hours, and compare the actual fills — more accurate than any promo page.
💡 Binance's "buy stocks directly" line has its own fees ($0.35 platform fee or 0.1% spread) — a separate account from bStocks, don't mix them up.
Pitfalls to avoid
- Separate the two products — decide whether you want tokens (bStocks) or real shares (stock trading) before you tap
- Don't market-order off-hours — the spread eats you; keep large orders for US hours
- Dividends are not cash — don't expect a USDC deposit, your position just grows
- Verify the network before withdrawing — BSC/BEP-20 with the official contract address; a wrong chain is irreversible
- Size for counterparty risk — your total risk = price risk + issuer/custodian performance risk; count both layers
FAQ
What is the difference between Binance bStocks and buying stocks directly?
Two different products. Direct stock trading holds real shares — 7,000+ tickers, USDC settlement, T+2, roughly $0.35 platform fee. bStocks are tokenized certificates — ~80+ tickers, spot, 24/7, ~1 second settlement, no voting rights, BSC self-custody. Long-term real equity uses the former; quick crypto-based price trading uses bStocks.
Are bStocks real stocks? Do I get voting rights?
No. bStocks are certificates representing financial instruments, issued by BTech Holdings in ADGM and backed 1:1 by real shares in regulated custody with verifiable reserves. You hold no shares and get no voting rights; exposure includes issuer and custodian performance.
How do bStocks dividends arrive? Why is there no cash?
bStocks pay no cash. After each ex-date, the net dividend (after ~30% withholding tax) is auto-reinvested via an on-chain Multiplier, raising your balance proportionally and usually earlier than the traditional pay date. You see more tokens, not money.
Can I withdraw bStocks to my own wallet? Which chain?
Yes. bStocks are BEP-20 tokens on BNB Smart Chain, withdrawable to Trust Wallet, the Binance Web3 wallet or a hardware wallet, and usable in DeFi. Verify the network and contract address before withdrawing — a wrong chain can permanently lose funds.
What are the Binance bStocks fees?
Stock↔bStocks conversion is permanently free; spot trading is officially zero commission with a possible small platform fee (check the live schedule). The maker fee waiver ended 2026-08-31. The real hidden cost is the off-hours spread.
Can mainland China users buy bStocks?
No. Binance does not serve mainland China users, and bStocks are generally unavailable to US persons; eligibility is set by the platform's region check. Don't bypass restrictions with a VPN or borrowed identity.
What is the minimum amount to buy bStocks?
Minimum $5 with fractional shares. One NVDA share costs about $120, but $20 buys roughly 0.16 of a share as NVDAB. Suits users with limited funds who want crypto-based exposure to US stock prices.
